This unique sterling silver flying saucer ring is a multifaceted band that, from the side, resembles a flying saucer.  It is 6MM tall and the side extends out in a triangle, with 8 flat edges.  Plain, simple bands don't have to be that simple or plain, in our humble opinion.  
 
Some jewelers have used this ring as a temporary wedding band, so the couple has something to wear while the final piece is being made.
